How can I pull up OTF menu without pulling up Mac app icons?
One comment – I use a MacBook Pro and have my app icons hidden unless I mouse near the bottom of the screen. It’s a little confusing when both the OTF and the Mac icons pop up at the same time, or sometimes I will want the OTF bar but I mouse down too quickly and get the Mac icons instead. Any thoughts on how to manage this?

Inappropriate?I'm also running with app icons hidden and had never noticed this issue until you posted here. I'm so totally a guy -- don't notice these things *at all*!
I agree that this is mildly inconvenient and will raise you a mildly annoying too. I don't have an immediate solution in mind but we'll keep it in mind as we continue to noodle on the overall OTF design. We're still very much in flux. -
Inappropriate? What if I could say which edge of the screen I wanted the OTF dashboard to fly in from?

Inappropriate? We could look into "top or bottom" but the sides won't work because we need a long horizontal area for text alerts.

Inappropriate?I noticed that we've got an icon in the Firefox status bar. What if you could trigger it with a click of the icon and not with a hover of the mouse near the edge of the screen?
I’m annoyed

Inappropriate?I like the ease of use in the hover technique, though it requires finesse. What if you had to hover over a different place on the screen besides bottom center, but the popup still came from the bottom (thereby giving you the long horizontal space you say you need)?
